Enhancing Well-Being and Education with Pet Assisted Therapy

Bringing People and Pets Together

Be the change you want to see in the world and let your pet help!

By becoming an advocate for pets, we help ourselves. By sharing our pets with others,

we enrich our lives. Engaging with others as volunteer teams enriches our lives with joy.

New England Pet Partners, Inc. 501c.3, #20-8765241, a Community Pet Partner #46489, does not charge a membership fee. We rely on donations, events and fund-raisers to defray costs. Fees are charged for private coaching, training and team evaluations.

NEPP is managed by a heart-centered board of directors and dedicated group of volunteers who donate their time/efforts. We are mindful of keeping our heart strings connected to our brain stems. To maintain integrity and professionalism, while offering experienced training, and teams an opportunity to connect with facilities, we rely on effective communications and donations to cover administrative and operating expenses.

To represent Pet Partner’s or New Engalnd Pet Partners we ask that you honor the high quality of integrity, professionalism and respect that the community, individuals and pets deserve.

Members of the board and registered visiting teams are generous in offering sage advise and mentoring. Please contact them individually as listed in our organizational chart or at Find a Team or Find a Facility. Many will allow you to shadow them on a visit. Work out the details with the individual team and the visiting facility. Each facility or organization has policies and procedures to respect. Please inquire before entering a facility with your pet.

NEPP requires that any Registered Team who chooses to use NEPP as a Community Partner contribute eight hours of volunteering and mentoring. This can be accomplished at team evaluations, volunteering at fund raisers, or allowing potential teams to shadow you on visits. It is an educationally enriching experience!

NEPP is paying it forward with a yearly Giving Back Scholarship to help those who need financial assistance to become Registered Pet Partners Teams. Read the guidelines for application.

NEPP has (3) board meetings, (3) team evaluations, and regular email communication on events and committees.

Our By-Laws and Code of Ethics are reviewed and clarified regularly.
